During 2007, House
of Puddles provided a home, food, veterinary care, medications, baths,
ear cleanings, nail trims, beds, treats, toys, belly rubs and lots of
love for a total of 22 senior basset hounds who had no place else to go
and no one else to care for them. The belly rubs and love are
given freely, but everything else costs money. This is what the
raffle will help to pay for.

hand paints her own fun, whimsical artwork on a great variety of homey
items. She should have a store where we could buy more of it, but
most of it she does to raise money for basset rescue. Every one of
her pieces is unique and we are so delighted to feature some of her work
in our raffle. This adorable frame is a little over 10" square.
I can't believe the wonderful winner of our Holiday raffle donated this incredible sucking machine back to HOP, but here it is, still brand new and in the box. Designed for quick pick-ups, this Dyson has twice the sucking power of other handhelds.
No doubt you've seen "The Fan
Club" picture before, but this is a jigsaw puzzle and it's a very hard
item to find. It's 700 pieces and measures 12" x 34" when
completed. This is a real collector's item, so just to make sure
it travels safely, it will be accompanied by these three fierce-looking
security guards you see pictured with it.
This cute little leather zipper coin purse
is hand painted. It's just the thing to store all the cool basset
hound jewelry that comes with it - a hand-made clay pin, silver charm
bracelet, earrings, and the renowned Devon's Dream crystal necklace.
We're also including a brand new 2008 Daily Drool desk calendar.
We've had these wonderful handmade quilts before and every one
is cuter than the last. This fits a twin or full size bed, or even
a queen if you don't need it to hang down much on the sides. It's
very soft and cozy, quilted with buttons and yarn.
