In Memory of Polly, at the Rainbow Bridge:
February 25, 2012
I'm Polly from Arkansas and I got here 5/23/2008. The wonderful people at Ozark Mountain Basset Rescue saved me from the shelter. |
My "family" had left me outside the shelter in January, where I sat all night in a sleet storm waiting for somebody to find me. |
My skin was pretty bad and I had hardly any hair on my tail, so I get lots of baths here. |
But it's all better afterwards when I get my piggy ear! |
I am everybody's boss here. I sleep near the edge of the bed so I can guard it from intruders. |
And I keep a careful watch during the day for anybody getting out of line. |
| I don't mind playing dress up, as long as I don't have to get up and do anything. |

Well, OK, if there are treats involved, I'll get off the bed. |
Don't mess with me or I'll cast a spell on you! |
