I'm from Jasper, Georgia, and I hitched a ride up here with Buster on
5/14/2006.

They call me Jasper 'cause I couldn't remember my real name when the
nice lady in GA found me.

Mom says I have some pretty crooked legs, but they get me around OK.

I sort of liked it here right away. They have lots of soft beds.
 |
I had to work, too, helping to sell raffle tickets for a HOP raffle.
 |

But it was pretty easy work, really.
 |
And I didn't mind a bit.
 |

Some of the beds here are big enough for lots of us, with room for Mom
in the middle.

Some days when I don't feel so good, Mom even lets me eat dinner in bed.
 |
One day I had something called a rhinoscopy done, and I didn't feel good
at all afterwards.

The doctor said I have something growing way up in my nose. It's
not a good thing, but Mom gives me medicine to help me feel better.
 |
I also have an eye that looks kinda scary sometimes. I think I had
glaucoma a long, long time ago and nobody took care of it for me.
